Diverge-Before-Converge

Every workflow explicitly expands possibilities before narrowing — the defining structural principle of CIS, contrasting with BMM's linear convergence.

Energy Checkpoints

Real in-workflow check-ins (e.g. Victor: "How's your energy? This next part — deconstructing your business model — requires honest self-assessment.") at Innovation Strategy steps 3/5/8, Problem Solving steps 5/8, and Design Thinking steps 3/5/7.

Template-Output Checkpoint

Layered Customization

Not Installed by Default

CIS requires an explicit module install — it is not part of a standard new BMAD installation.
